Equipment Rental Policy

Renters may request equipment such as cameras, lights, fog machines, snow machines, dubbing studio access, studio space, chroma backdrops (black or green), and other miscellaneous tools. Only the items confirmed at the time of booking are included in the rental.

The rental period begins and ends on the dates agreed upon during booking. All equipment must be returned on time and in proper working condition. Extended use beyond the scheduled period may result in additional charges.

Rental fees are charged per day, session, or week as listed at the time of booking. A refundable security deposit may be required. Late returns may result in additional charges. Payments overdue by more than 10 days may incur 5% annual interest. Rates may be reviewed annually with one month’s written notice.

All equipment is provided in proper working order. The owner will inspect items before and after each rental. Renters must return all equipment in the same condition, with normal wear and tear accepted.

Equipment must be used safely and only for lawful purposes. Renters may not modify, repair, or alter equipment without prior approval. Fog and snow machines must be used in compliance with safety and ventilation guidelines. Equipment may not be subleased, lent, or used by third parties.

Renters are responsible for all damage, loss, or theft of equipment during the rental period. Repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the security deposit. Any costs exceeding the deposit must be paid by the renter.

Renters must obtain and maintain valid insurance coverage for all rented equipment, covering loss, theft, or accidental damage for the entire rental period. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to the rental start date. Rentals will not be confirmed without insurance verification.

Renters assume full responsibility for the safe and proper use of equipment. The owner is not liable for any injuries, damages, or indirect losses resulting from equipment use. Renters are encouraged to maintain production or rental insurance to cover any unforeseen events.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

• More than 48 hours before the rental start: full refund.
• 24–48 hours before the rental start: 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours before the rental start: no refund.

The Owner may cancel the rental immediately if terms are violated or equipment is misused.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Alberta, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
